OVER 100 YEARS OF CANADIAN MANUFACTURING
Jomac's loyal and consistent ways are best exemplified by the fact that the town of Stanstead, nestled on the Quebec/Vermont border, has been home to the primary manufacturing facility since it's creation in 1906. Back then we were known as"The B.B. Glove Manufacturing Co." and a gasoline generator was used to run the sewing machines and the patterns were cut using a hammer and die.

1929
Dominion Glove was born and for the first time the brand Work King was used to identify our work gloves. For over 75 years the Work King name has been associated with quality and reliability. In fact, many of the original gloves that bore this name continue to be made today.

1990
Jomac Canada Inc. acquired well-known PVC manufacturer Barry Manufacturing Co. of Mississauga. As a result, the Bemac line of gloves began to be manufactured by Jomac.

1968
Dominion Glove was purchased by Philadelphia based Jomac Products Inc. The Canadian operations continued to run under the Dominion Glove banner until 1979, when following the purchase of Tapatco Gloves, all companies ran under the Jomac Canada Inc. name.

1991
A new chapter was written when Jomac Canada integrated their various manufacturing facilities into their newly built 70,000 square foot factory in Stanstead.

Our 75 employees continue to manufacture the widest range of hand and forearm protection in Canada. Now, as then, we pride ourselves in having a range of products as varied as our clients and their markets. Our vast line of cut, heat, general purpose and chemical resistant products, as well as our ability to create specialty products for niche markets, is the envy of many other manufacturers.
